LP Kindred is a Chicagoan-Angeleno writer of Speculative Fiction at the intersections of Black and Queen Identities.  Kindred is also active in BIPOC Speculative Activism as an Associate Editor at Escape Pod, programming committee member at FiyahCon/Ignyte, and teaching/organizing with Voodoonauts.  When not procrastiwriting, LP can be found singing, eating good food, watching bad tv, pretending to be fancy, and lifting heavy objects.  He is or will be an alum of Clarion, Hurston-Wright, and Voices of Our Nation Arts Foundations.  His fiction appears or is forthcoming in Fiyah Literary Magazine, LeVar Burton Reads, and Speculative City.
